4 x 4 Assembly and Wiring of Modular Panels
Purpose: This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the modules into a complete 4 x 4 ft digital billboard, including alignment, hardware installation, bracket reinforcement, and wiring.
Step 1: Start With the Edges
Objective: Build the perimeter first so the sign stays square and aligned.
- Sort and arrange the modules and parts in alphabetical order.
Step 2: Align the Sections
Objective: Align the modules and verify the seals before installing bolts.
- Align the sections so modules sit flush with no gaps.
- Instruction: The cable tunnel includes a preinstalled rubber seal. Confirm the rubber seal is installed in every slot before inserting and tightening the M8 bolts.
Open Port
Open ports must be placed in alphabetical order to complete the assembly.
Closed Port
Closed ports indicate the perimeter/edge of the sign.
Step 3: Secure With a Bolt
Objective: Secure the sections using the provided bolts.
- Details: Insert bolts into the pre-drilled holes.
- Instruction: Use the provided bolts to secure the modules to the frame.
M8 Bolts
Step 4: Tighten the Bolts
Objective: Stabilize the sections and lock the alignment.
- Details: Tighten all bolts to stabilize the structure.
- Instruction: Use appropriate tools to tighten bolts securely.
Step 5: Connect X-Brackets
Objective: Reinforce the sign structure across sections.
- Details: Place the X Brackets in the center of every four cabinets and screw in the bolts to hold the clip in position.
Step 6: Connect L-Brackets
L-brackets are used to mount the sign to the structure/frame.
Step 7: Connect the Wires
Objective: Complete signal and power wiring using the diagrams.
- Details: Connect the wiring for both signal and electrical power.
- Instruction: Follow the wiring diagrams to connect signal cables and power cables correctly.

Sensor
The sensor must face the same direction as the sign.
Antenna
The antenna is outdoor-rated and should be mounted on the structure. Recommended height from the ground is at least 6 feet, so the indicator light is visible for future maintenance.
How to confirm the sign was assembled correctly
- Power the sign on.
- If the screen displays distorted images or text, the module placement or wiring is incorrect and should be rechecked.
