Refurbish LED Sign on Existing Monument


Current Sign

Lightbox 1 foot high and 7 feet wide; LED sign that has reached end of life, approximately 3 feet by 6 feet.

The existing LED sign (approximately 3 ft × 8 ft) has reached the end of its life, mounted below a 1 ft × 8 ft lightbox on the monument.

Proposed Frame 01

Refurbishing the old sign with a new one. The side cover will need to be adjusted to accommodate the new sign dimensions, and the perimeter around the sign on the monument will be covered for a clean finish.

Project Scope — Bid Required

Please submit an itemized bid covering the complete scope below. Please provide separate quotes for both Proposal 01 and Proposal 02, so we can compare which approach is more viable and cost-effective.

  • Fabricate the support frame — tubular and angular — to mount the new LED sign to the existing monument (per the applicable proposal).
  • Fabricate a shroud to cover any gap on the monument created by the new sign.
  • Fabricate a side cover for the lightbox.

Not included in scope:

  • LED sign supply
  • Software programming and support
  • Electrical work — final termination, new circuits, feeders, or trenching (to be handled by a licensed electrician)
