“Which model do I need—HSP-300-5 or RSP-320-5?”
At LED Sign City, we make it easy to figure that out. Here’s a quick breakdown to help you identify the right power supply for your sign—and avoid delays.

🛠️ How to Know Which Power Supply You Need
If your sign was built after 2020, especially if purchased from LED Sign City, chances are you need the HSP-300-5. That’s because we’ve standardized all of our signs to use convection-cooled (fanless) power supplies for improved reliability and reduced maintenance.
In fact, the RSP-320-5 hasn’t been used in any of our new builds since 2019.
🔍 Not Sure About Your Sign’s Build Year?
Here’s what to do:
-
Check your original invoice for the model or build year.
-
Look inside the sign (if accessible) for the power supply label.
-
Or just contact us with your order number—we’ll help confirm the correct part.
🚫 Why Picking the Wrong Power Supply Matters
Using a fan-based power supply in a fanless design can lead to:
-
Overheating
-
Shortened component life
-
Compatibility issues
Always double-check before ordering!
✅ In Summary
