How to Upgrade Firmware in Viplex Express for EMC Signs

Firmware updates can resolve glitches in your LED sign, such as content distortion, freezing, or blackout issues, and help improve system stability and performance.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open Terminal Control

Launch Viplex Express on laptop
Go to the Control Panel
Click on “Terminal Upgrade”

Step 2: Select Your Sign

Check the box to the left of your sign to select it
Click “Online Upgrade” at the top
Then select “Upgrade” to begin the firmware update

⚠️ Important Notes

Do not power off the sign or close the software during the upgrade process
The sign may restart or go temporarily offline—this is normal
After upgrading, verify that content displays properly and reconnect to Vnnox if needed
