Enclosure Controller Replacement: TB2 to TB20

Phase 1: Disassembly and Removal

1. Access the Controller: Locate and open the enclosure to expose the internal controller assembly.

2. Remove the Enclosure Components: Unscrew the outer black plate to clear access to the hardware.

3. Disconnect the Cables: Carefully unplug the three required connections from the old controller:

• Power Cable:

• Signal Cable:

4. Extract the Old Controller: Remove the mounting screws and lift the old controller unit out of the enclosure.

Phase 2: Installation and Reassembly

1. Prepare the Replacement Unit: Take the provided replacement controller. Remove the protective backing from the double-sided mounting tape already attached to the back of the unit.

2. Mount the New Controller: Securely attach the new controller to the inside cover of the enclosure.

3. Reconnect and Route the Cables: Re-establish the three required connections to the controller, utilizing the extended service loops if necessary:

• Signal Cable: Plug the signal cable back into its designated LED OUT port.

• Power Cable: Connect the power cable.  (Note: Use the included extra-length power cable if the existing one does not reach comfortably.)

• Ethernet Cable: Connect the LAN/PoE cable to the Ethernet port. Use the provided  if additional length is needed between the PoE source and the controller.

4. Pre-Closure Inspection: Verify that all cables have adequate slack, fit well within the housing, and are not compressed.

5. Secure the Enclosure: Carefully close and secure the enclosure cover to finish the replacement.
