Action for a Better Community is elevating its community presence with a brand-new programmable LED sign! This state-of-the-art technology will enable them to dynamically display important messages, reinforcing their mission to promote self-sufficiency among low-income individuals and families. The larger display and higher resolution will ensure greater visibility, allowing Action for a Better Community to effectively communicate with more community members and stakeholders.
Current Sign
Currently, the pole designated for the new LED sign already hosts two static signs displaying other companies' names. While these signs serve their respective businesses, they limit the pole's capacity for dynamic and timely communication. The addition of a programmable LED sign will allow Action for a Better Community to effectively communicate with the community without disrupting the existing signage.

Proposed Solution
We are upgrading Action for a Better Community's signage with a new programmable LED sign, strategically placed in the middle of the existing pole. This new LED sign measures 5 feet tall and 6 feet wide LED sign with a p10 resolution. This enhanced LED sign will provide:
- Larger Display Area: More space to showcase messages, allowing for greater flexibility in communication.
- Higher Resolution: Improved clarity and vibrant colors to attract attention and ensure messages are easily readable from a distance.
- Frequent Message Updates: Ability to change messages quickly and efficiently, keeping the community informed about events, promotions, and inspirational messages.
This upgrade will significantly enhance visibility and engagement, ensuring that Action for a Better Community's commitment to social justice, self-sufficiency, and community well-being is prominently displayed and easily accessible to all.
LED Sign Resolution Options
We are offering three resolution options for their new LED sign:
- Spotlight: Features superb 1024 pixels per module, capable of showing images, videos, and text.
- Beacon HD: Provides more than double the pixels of the Spotlight, delivering the highest resolution.

Brightness Adjustment
A common question is whether the sign can be dimmed. In mixed-use community areas, it's important to know that the sign includes a brightness sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness to suitable levels based on the time of day.
Additionally, brightness adjustments can be made manually if required. This way, the business can manually schedule the brightness of the sign in accordance with the DarkSky guidelines.
