Comprehensive Coverage Details:
First Year: Parts: 100% coverage. All parts are provided free of charge in case of defects or failures under normal use conditions.
Remaining Fourteen Years (Year 2 to Year 15)
Proportional Prorated Coverage: The warranty for the remaining fourteen years is prorated based on a 15-year term.
Calculation: The prorated coverage is calculated based on the remaining warranty period. For each year after the first, a 6.67% reduction in coverage applies (100% divided by 15 years). This means in the second year, 93.33% of the part cost is covered, in the third year 86.67%, and so forth, decreasing each year.
Covered Components: The warranty specifically applies to the following internal components and wiring:
- Power Supplies
- Video Cards
- Control Cards
- LED Modules on the Exterior
Defective Parts Return Policy: Upon identifying a defective component, LED Sign City will send a replacement part to the customer. The customer is required to return the defective part to LED Sign City after completing the repair. The return of the defective part is necessary for the warranty service to be complete.
Labor Charges: Labor charges for the replacement or repair of parts are not included in the warranty. In the event the customer is unable to perform the replacement, they will be responsible for any labor costs incurred.
Exclusions: Damage due to misuse, accidents, or lack of proper maintenance. Failures not caused by manufacturing defects, including but not limited to, acts of God (such as natural disasters), vandalism, or other external factors.
Claim Process: To initiate a warranty claim, the customer should call or send an email to LED Sign City reporting the issue. Customers are required to send pictures showing the current status of the screen. If the issue cannot be determined from the pictures, LED Sign City will schedule a support session to troubleshoot the display.
