Town of Kentwood – Signage Improvement Projects
The Town of Kentwood is moving forward with two new signage projects aimed at enhancing communication and wayfinding for both residents and visitors. These upgrades include a high-visibility LED sign at Town Hall and a new lighted wayfinding sign in Amite. Together, these installations will provide greater clarity, convenience, and a modernized visual presence for the community.
Project 1: LED Sign and Lightbox
The main digital signage system will be installed at the Town Hall in Kentwood, LA, serving as a modern communication tool for residents and visitors.

We are offering three resolution options for new LED signs:
- Spotlight: Features superb 1024 pixels per module, capable of showing images, videos, and text.
- Beacon HD: Provides more than double the pixels of the Spotlight, delivering the highest resolution.

Auto Brightness Adjustment
A common question is whether the sign can be dimmed. In mixed-use community areas, it's important to know that the sign includes a brightness sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness to suitable levels based on the time of day.
Manual Brightness Control
Additionally, brightness adjustments can be made manually if required. This way, the business can manually schedule the brightness of the sign in accordance with the DarkSky guidelines.
