Retrofit Monument with LED Sign and Lightbox
For long-term aesthetics, structural stability, and ease of maintenance, on-premise outdoor signs visible to commuters are generally better designed when the identity lightbox and LED display are integrated together as a single visual unit.
Below is an example of how this can be accomplished on an existing monument structure with two columns/poles approximately 5–6 feet apart.
Current Structure

Proposed Structure: LED Sign Mounting Structure
Tubular Sleeve Frame
- Tubular frame designed to mount down over the columns/poles
- Creates a cleaner integrated appearance
- Helps visually combine the monument and LED display into one structure
Current Lightbox
The current lightbox installed above the columns:
- Did not match the depth of the monument columns
- Appeared visually undersized compared to the structure below
- Did not align proportionally with the LED sign

Proposed Lightbox Update
The updated lightbox design:
- Adjusts the cabinet depth to match the column depth
- Aligns proportionally with the LED sign below
- Creates a more unified monument appearance
- Improves curb appeal and overall visibility
