2. Contractor Requirements

4. Scope of Work

The contractor will be responsible for the following:

  • Remove the existing sign from the monument structure.

  • Verify the location and accessibility of the existing junction box with the site electrician.

  • Coordinate indoor disconnect switch placement with the electrician (if required for code compliance).

  • Make final electrical connections between the LED sign and the existing, pre-installed junction box.

 

5. Scope Limitations

The following items are not included in the contractor’s scope:

  • Sign content setup, programming, or software configuration.

  • Running or installing new electrical wiring.

  • Performing electrical service upgrades or changes to the building’s electrical panel.

  • Any upstream electrical work beyond the final connection point.
