How to Install Your LED Sign on a Post-and-Panel Sign Frame
This page explains the installation strategy for mounting an LED sign onto an existing steel sign support structure. The goal is to demonstrate how the sign is centered, supported, and securely attached without modifying the original frame.
Two mounting options are shown below. The appropriate method depends on the design of the existing structure and site-specific conditions.

Mounting Options
Option 1: U-Channel Mounting System
In this method, a U-channel is attached to the existing frame. The LED sign sits outside the channel, allowing the weight of the sign to be supported

Option 2: L-Bracket Mounting System
This option uses L-brackets mounted directly to the existing frame. The LED sign is then fastened to the brackets, providing secure attachment and flexibility in positioning.

Bracket Placement on the Sign
When using brackets, mounting points should be aligned with the internal structural rows of the sign cabinet. Brackets can be installed on the second row from the top and bottom of the sign.

Installation Drawings
The drawings above illustrate how each mounting option connects the sign to the existing structure and show the recommended placement of mounting hardware for proper support.
