LED Sign City is requesting itemized bids from licensed, Davis-Bacon-compliant contractors for the installation of a commercial-grade, wall-mounted LED billboard at a retail property in Orlando, Florida.
The project involves the installation of a single-sided LED display measuring 6.3 feet tall by 19.9 feet wide (75.6" x 239.4"), mounted to the exterior façade above the building’s main entrance on the first story. The sign will be elevated and securely affixed using a provided L-bracket mounting system.
Contractors will be responsible for conducting a site survey, obtaining any required local permits, and coordinating stamped engineered drawings if applicable. The scope includes making the final electrical connection to an existing junction box provided by the site’s electrician.
All bidders must confirm compliance with prevailing wage requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act. Sign content programming and software setup are not included in the scope of work.
2. Contractor Requirements & Davis-Bacon Compliance
This project falls under the scope of the Davis-Bacon Act, which requires all labor to be compensated in accordance with federally mandated prevailing wage rates. To be eligible for this opportunity, contractors must:

4. Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the following:

- Mount the LED sign to the first-story building façade using provided hardware

- Coordinate indoor disconnect switch placement with the electrician (if required for code compliance)
- Make the final electrical connection between the LED sign and the existing, pre-installed junction box
5. Scope Limitations
The following items are not included in the contractor’s scope:
- Sign content setup, programming, or software configuration
- Running or installing new electrical wiring
- Performing electrical service upgrades or changes to the building’s electrical panel
- Any upstream electrical work beyond the final connection point
