Overview

This project involves installing LED signage at Twin Lakes, where LED Sign City is commissioning the installer to manage permitting, structure fabrication, and installation. The objective is to increase visibility for Twin Lakes following a three-year renovation, positioning the business for its grand reopening. The project includes two LED signs: a primary 10x20 ft sign positioned for highway visibility along I-44 and I-35, either as a double-sided or two single-sided configurations, and a secondary ground-level 3x5 ft sign on NE 63rd St.

Proposed Location 2 for 10X20 Billboard:

Project Scope
The installer will handle permitting, structural assembly, and installation, ensuring compliance with visibility standards and local jurisdiction requirements. Responsibilities include determining materials, performing electrical setup, and ensuring each sign’s durability and aesthetic fit for the environment.

Project Requirements

The primary 10x20 ft sign can be installed as either one double-sided or two single-sided structures, based on which option provides optimal visibility for both I-44 and I-35. This sign requires a 20-foot steel structure for height and durability, with ROW distance from the highways verified to ensure compliance and effective visibility. Electrical requirements are 172 AMPS@110V or 86 AMPS@220V per side, with a maximum consumption of 19,000 watts. The installer should confirm proximity to power sources and recommend any necessary upgrades.

The secondary 3x5 ft sign will be mounted 6 feet above ground on NE 63rd St. ROW distance from the street should be verified for compliance, and power requirements of 12 AMPS@110V or 6 AMPS@220V per side, with max consumption at 1,425 watts, should be confirmed.

Scope of Work for Installer
The installer is responsible for obtaining necessary permits based on jurisdiction-specific regulations, including ROW distance, material specifications, and height compliance. Permits must cover both the highway-visible signage and the ground-level installation. The installer should handle all structural assembly, foundation work, and safety-compliant installation, ensuring quality standards are met. Power source assessment, electrical connections, and potential upgrades are part of the installation requirements. The option to add lightboxes or static text elements should be accommodated if required.

Project Timeline
The timeline includes milestones for permitting, structural preparation, and final installation, aligning with Twin Lakes’ goal to complete the project ahead of the grand reopening.

Quote Submission Guidelines
Installers are requested to provide a detailed quote covering permitting, structural work, electrical setup, installation, and optional custom features. The quote should itemize labor, materials, and associated costs to allow flexibility based on the selected sign configuration.

Additional Information Requests
To facilitate accurate quotes, installers may request additional details if needed.

Installers can contact LED Sign City for any additional specifications or details required to complete the bid accurately. Please direct all requests to the designated project coordinator to ensure timely and accurate responses.
