Module Removal: How to Identify the Holes to Lock and Unlock the Module

Securing your LED sign modules is crucial for maintaining the integrity and functionality of your display. This guide will help you quickly identify the locking holes on your module, ensuring that you can lock and unlock it with ease. Follow these simple steps to familiarize yourself with the locking mechanism and keep your sign securely in place. 

Step 1: Familiarize Yourself with the Module

  • Begin by examining the module. It’s important to understand the layout to easily locate the locking mechanism.

Step 2: Locate the Top Locking Hole

  • From the top edge of the module, measure down approximately 2 inches (or slightly less). You should see a small hole. This is where you can insert the tool to engage the lock.

Step 3: Observe the Locking Mechanism

  • Once you insert the tool into the top hole, observe the back of the module. You will see the lock engage and disengage as you open and close it. This visual cue confirms the locking mechanism is functioning correctly.

Step 4: Locate the Bottom Locking Hole

  • Similarly, locate the bottom locking hole on the module. It should be positioned directly opposite the top hole, near the bottom edge.

Step 5: Engage the Bottom Lock

  • Insert the tool into the bottom hole and observe the locking action on the back of the module, just as you did with the top lock. You should see the lock engage and disengage when you open and close it.

Step 6: Confirm Proper Locking

  • After identifying both the top and bottom holes and observing the locking action, ensure both locks are properly engaged to secure the module.
