LED OK: How to Update Your Firmware to Access TaxiAPP Cloud Server

Introduction
The TaxiAPP platform enables you to manage your taxi top sign remotely through a cloud-based server. However, to gain access to the cloud, you need to ensure your sign’s firmware is up to date. This guide will walk you through the process of updating the firmware to get your sign connected to the TaxiAPP cloud server, using the LED OK system.

1. What is TaxiAPP?
TaxiAPP is a cloud-based platform designed to let you remotely control your taxi top sign. To utilize TaxiAPP and connect your sign to the cloud, you must first ensure that your sign is running the correct firmware version.

2. Why Update the Firmware for TaxiAPP?
Firmware updates are essential to keep your taxi top sign compatible with the TaxiAPP cloud server. Without the latest firmware, the connection between the sign and the cloud server may not function properly.

3. Steps to Update LED OK Firmware

1. Connect to Your Sign's Wi-Fi
   Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings and connect to the sign’s network.
   Enter the password 12345678 (or your custom password).

2. Open LED OK Express
   Launch the LED OK Express app on your device, then hit Refresh to connect to your player.

3. Enter Advanced Mode
   Go to Terminal Control, select Advanced, and enter the password 888.

4. Uninstall the Current Firmware
   In Firmware Management, select the sign's IP address.
   If the previous update was for the TaxiAPP, ensure net.sysolution.taxiapp is selected and uninstall it. 
   If you're currently using LED OK, ensure com.XIXUN.XIXUNPLAYER is selected and uninstall that firmware. 

5. Install the New Firmware
   Once the uninstall is complete, go to the top left corner and select APK.
   Search for the firmware file (downloaded from the link above), open it, and begin the upgrade process.

4. Important Note: Image Limitations Based on Firmware
Depending on the firmware you are running, you may not be able to change images on the sign. Make sure you are using the correct firmware version for either TaxiAPP or LED OK to manage this functionality.
