How to Reset and Reset the Novastar TB2 Controller

A guide on how to reset the Novastar TB2 Controller

Access the Controller

Before you can reset the controller, you’ll need to access it by removing the module that covers it. The controller is located at the bottom left of the sign. For this sign, it is located in J3.

Locate the Reset Button

Once the controller is exposed, look to the right side of the controller. You should see a small reset button.

Reset the Controller

1. Press and hold the reset button for one minute.
2. After holding the button, release it.

This process will restart the controller and restore access to your sign. Resetting the controller will revert it to the default password: "SN2008@+".

Verify Access

After restarting, check the sign to ensure it is functioning as expected. After the reset, you’ll need to send the setup files back to the sign. Use this guide to help you through the process:
