How to create schedules on XM Player
In this blog, we’ll guide you through creating schedules on XM Player, particularly for brightness adjustments. Scheduling brightness can help you optimize the visibility of your LED sign based on the time of day and specific days you choose. Follow these steps to set up a brightness schedule effectively.

1. Locate the Clock Icon
- In XM Player, locate the Clock icon, which is used to access scheduling options.
- Click on the clock icon to start scheduling your content.
2. Add a New Schedule
- Click Add to create a new schedule entry.
3. Edit Schedule Settings
- In the Schedule Editing section, access the dropdown menu in the Introduction field.
- Select Brightness Setting from the dropdown menu.
- Use the sliding menu to adjust brightness levels:
- Left side: Shows brightness percentage.
- Right side: Reflects the brightness intensity.
- Set the Execute Time to define how long this brightness setting will last.
- Adjust the Valid Date to specify the active period:
- Options include a specified date or an unlimited period.
- Select the Valid Week days for this brightness schedule:
- Choose specific days or apply it across all days of the week.
- When satisfied with the settings, click OK to save your changes.
4. Send Schedule to Sign
- In the Terminal and Server List, confirm the brightness setting appears as connected.
- Click the checkmark next to the brightness setting to select it.
- Press Send to apply the schedule to your sign.
